You Asked For It....

This morning I got up a little earlier than normal and went for a prayer walk. “I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.” Proverbs 8:12

The thought that entered my mind this morning was share with me by a friend, “ God knows where all the gold and silver is on this earth. Every precious stone and great wealth and still we search. So instead we should seek Him that knows all.” My prayer this morning, was that the Lord would revile to me (as I prepared my heart to receive wisdom) the “knowledge of witty inventions”

We are no more then one thought, one dream, one act away from a life changing idea. We serve a creative God and we were created in the image and likeness of him. It is in our DNA to inspire creative change in our world. My challenge for you is pray for the “knowledge of witty inventions” and allow your mind to expand into the things of God.

Oh, I want to see...

Proverbs  29:18,” Where there is no vision the people perish…(or cast of restraint, run wild)”.

And we hear this verse quoted all the time, qualifying the vision about to be cast. But the second part of the same verse gives life and direction to the lack of vision, “…but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”  Before we embrace new visions, instruction or direction, it must first be in line with the word of God. Prayer and fasting reveal the vision that God has for our lives.

2 Corinthians 12:1 1 It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.  It is my prayer that we as followers of Jesus Christ seek the giver of visions and not the vision itself. We must first seek his kingdom and righteousness and his spirit well lead us into truth, vision and purpose. Join me in prayer and fasting of the vision and calling of God on our lives.

Habakkuk 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

everything changes "NOW"

This year I'll be thirty years old. CRAZY! And as I look back over the last ten years, I can see how quick everything changes. I know you hear it all the time, but ten years ago, I had some big dreams, goals, thoughts of being a lot farther than I find myself today. What happen to the all out crazy dreamer from 2002? Well I can tell you what going to happen to this over waight, under paid, preacher from Covington Ga. This is the end for that guy and the rebirth of the Crazy, Audacious, Man of Faith!

I'm Charles Brandon Walton, remember that name. I going to Rock this World for the name of Christ, IN JESUS NAME.

engage the culture though creative minds

What if we could create culture in our work , home , school or church ? We can! How you mite ask . We make culture every day, it's what we do within our group of friends, on My Space, any area of our life where we fill free to be creative .

We must learn to let our imagination work for us and not against us.Have you ever got in trouble for " day dreaming " ? I have, a lot. Have you ever wrote them down ? Never thought of that ? Imagination is what make great people great. We would probably never had known Walt Disney if he had denied imagination from working in his life. He made culture. Because he believe in his imagination it became creativity that made is name a brand.

What have you dreamed lately?
What in your life stands out that defines you?
How are you creative?

Think and change the world !

If the gospel be hid

Manage Blog Luke 24:13-32 ASV 24:13And behold, two of them were going that very day to a village named Emmaus, which was threescore furlongs from Jerusalem. 24:14 And they communed with each other of all these things which had happened. 24:15 And it came to pass, while they communed and questioned together, that Jesus himself drew near, and went with them. 24:16But their eyes were holden that they should not know him. 24:17 And he said unto them, What communications are these that ye have one with another, as ye walk? And they stood still, looking sad.

24:18And one of them, named Cleopas, answering said unto him, Dost thou alone sojourn in Jerusalem and not know the things which are come to pass there in these days? 24:19 And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, The things concerning Jesus the Nazarene, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people: 24:20 and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him up to be condemned to death, and crucified him. 24:21 But we hoped that it was he who should redeem Israel. Yea and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things came to pass. 24:22 Moreover certain women of our company amazed us, having been early at the tomb;24:23 and when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive. 24:24 And certain of them that were with us went to the tomb, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.

24:25 And he said unto them, O foolish men, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! 24:26 Behooved it not the Christ to suffer these things, and to enter into his glory? 24:27 And beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he interpreted to them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. 24:28 And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they were going: and he made as though he would go further. 24:29 And they constrained him, saying, Abide with us; for it is toward evening, and the day is now far spent. And he went in to abide with them. 24:30 And it came to pass, when he had sat down with them to meat, he took the bread and blessed; and breaking `it' he gave to them. 24:31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight. 24:32 And they said one to another, Was not our heart burning within us, while he spake to us in the way, while he opened to us the scriptures?

These two men thought they knew the "story" but they did not know the gospel. There is a difference between telling a story and sharing it. To these men some of what they told was second hand knowledge, but to Jesus it was his life's story. V. 24:15 ...they questioned together,.. Jesus could tell there was some doubt in there story. He herd there questions and " opened to them the scriptures."

Opened here means "1) to open by dividing or drawing asunder, to open thoroughly (what had been closed) or a) of the eyes and the ears b)to open the mind of one, to divide for distribution."Jesus shared the scriptures, it was his to give. No only did the scriptures point to him as the redeemer but to us as his redeemed. Now we are part of the gospel, it's not only the gospel of Jesus Christ, it is now our gospel, our good news.

So now that these men are partakers of the gospel, what do they do? 24:33 And they rose up that very hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them, 24:34 saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon. 24:35 And they rehearsed the things `that happened' in the way, and how he was known of them in the breaking of the bread. 24:36 And as they spake these things, he himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace `be' unto you. Luke 24:33-36 ASV

They shared the gospel and Jesus showed up ! You see, you mite not think that your gospel can make a difference but if you share it Christ in you the hope of glory will come and make the difference. AMEN

So what will happen if we don't share our gospel ?4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:2 Corinthians 4:3 KJV I'll let that word sink in. For this cause we have come " to seek and save the lost "
